My year in review
I just finished freshmen year (well, really, I finish this Tuesday after finals)...what a hell hole.
Nine months of being shoved around while teachers pile on more and more work, to “see what we can handle.” Most of the people in my grade have therapists. What does that tell you? I feel like I’m going insane.
It hasn’t been all horrible. Everything outside of school went okay for me. Ballet, as always, was my outlet for everything. I’m going up to San Fransisco to dance with LINES Ballet for a month in about a week. I got a small part in the school play, and I got to spend time with two GORGEOUS guys. I did pretty well on the track team, and I had tons of fun on the volleyball team. I got my braces off early this year. That was a big thing for me.
All in all, my year was actually okay…and I would pay a hell of a lot to never have to do it again. I just want to fall asleep until I turn 18. Like Duane Hoover from “Little Miss Sunshine”
